These experiences took in brand-enhancing microsites, online advertising, identity design, corporate website design, illustration and animation. Trained as a traditional graphic designer with proper grounding in essentials like typography I have genuine passion for many areas of visual communication and a willingness to transfer skills across media and disciplines.

Volunteer

Volunteered to help with the recovery mission in Thailand following the tsunami of 2004. Spent 6 months on reconstruction of Tap Tawaan, a coastal fishing village. As a long-term volunteer I was assistant to the construction site project manager.

Was part of the digital team assembled to project what was then TBWA\GGT into the digital agency space. Over 3 years we went from small scale online advertising campaigns to creating fully integrated award-winning cross-media advertising campaigns reporting directly to the C.D. Nick Moore.

Clients included GM Vauxhall, Canon Europe, 3, Abbey (Now Santander), The Sun (News International) and Chevrolet.

My first professional position was in this full-service design, artwork and print studio. Learned the full process of design jobs and was able to see the effects of each step on the final product. Was delighted to experience the discipline of hand-created artwork, including drum-scanned illustration and Letraset typesetting but was creating faster workflows with Apple Mac software towards the end of my time there.

Clients included Southern Tourist Board, Diametrics, Chartered Institute of Accountants and B&Q.
